Apple watch indoor walk tracking way off

Apple,

Can we finally get an update that allows us to adjust indoor walking distance? Or can the calibration be fixed if not?

I've followed the steps to recalibrate on the watch several times, it's no help. In fact, after the last one a few weeks ago it's actually gotten worse than before.

It's never consistant other than it's always way under what it should be. Anywhere between .7 - .15 off randomly. I walk the same 30 min on the treadmill in the morning everyday, yet everyday my watch is different.

After several years of people coming to you with this issue you'd think it would be fixed or you put an adjustment ability in there.

Hi Carol,

Thanks for the reply. I'm well aware this is the community chat and not support. However, I know that people from Apple do monitor and sometimes respond to comments here. This was more of an open gripe.

There are many other posts on the community pages about the same issue, I was looking at an older one before I posted mine. I'm hoping if enough people bring this up they will finally fix it, because going to support, as you suggested, unfortunately gets you nowhere and no solution.
