Remove WINS from WiFi connection

I started at a new company and their IT administrator added my MacBook to their network. The problem is that when he added me he entered an IP on the WINS tab of my WiFi connection. I can't seem to delete it because whenever I select to apply the change, the IP address gets restored. This has caused now some sort of conflict because I can't pick up their server to connect to their server.

WINS is very rare. Most IP connectivity is done via DHCP. Have you tried simply to renew the DHCP lease?
