My 2017 iMac 21.5in is running Ventura 13.3.1 . Over the last few months it ran fine but now it’s taking so long to preform simple tasks.
I formatted the drive so it was wiped in hopes it would speed it up. However it seems that it’s still the same speed.
im out of ideas on how to boost or fix the performance.

If your iMac has a hard disk or Fusion Drive, you can have improved system performance by connecting to an external solid-state drive (also known as an SSD). An external SSD as a startup disk can give your Mac additional performance for system responsiveness, apps, startup, and more.

We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...
