Why is the top half of my iphone screen not working

For some reason I can only press buttons on the bottom half of my iphone, despite updating it, reseting it (even factory reset) this issue is still there. How do I fix this? 60% of my iphone doesn't respond to touch and 40% does.

Hi hayla32,

For help with your iPhone screen not working as expected, you've completed some great steps thus far. You can test with and accessory such as a Lightning or USB-C cable connected. Additionally you can try removing any protective case or screen protectors. If the issue continues, it's likely there's a hardware issue present.

You can also try testing the specific area by using your Calculator app in both landscape and portrait mode.

If needed the articles below have information to help you test.
