How can I activate the iMac camera on Chrome for websites?

Hello,

When I open a website that requires the use of the camera, Chrome only detects the fixed one on my iMac.

If I go to browser settings, in fact, iPhone does not appear.

On FaceTime, Zoom etc, it works fine.

Can anyone tell me if this can't be done or if there's a correct way to activate it?

Thank you.

Try connecting the iphone to the mac using the lightening/usb-c cable and then it should appear in Google Chrome. It worked for me at least.

That's entirely down to Chrome. Google needs to support the Continuity Camera feature in the Chrome App for it to work.

Things like Zoom already support Continuity Camera and as such it works.

Contact Chrome support and ask them. click here ➜ https://support.google.com/chrome/?hl=en#topic=7439538

It appears support for this feature may be coming in the future with the Chrome Canary version of Chrome.
