I need help blocking certain apps on my child’s phone before she ends up in deep trouble her phone is and iPhone xr

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
You can do anything from restrict how much she can use some apps, all the way to disable installing of apps.
So you can install all the apps she is allowed, then disable installing of apps for example.
