FCPX shape mask display only half video below

When I make a shape mask on a vertical video, only half of the video below is displayed instead of the entire video.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks

The project is vertical? Try swapping the HDR Tools so it's after the Draw Mask.

When the HDR effect is applied the bottom half of the screen does not work with the mask. Magnetic mask overlap resulted in export failure The Magnetic Mask doesn't have a fill opacity button, so I duplicated the clip and inverted the mask to place it on top. However, I discovered that it can't be rendered, leading to repeated export failures! When the same Magnetic Masks are not overlapping, the export works fine. Does anyone have a better solution to this problem? Or can Apple fix this ? Maybe give it a opacity button to keyframe ?

Final Cut Export takes ages when magnetic mask is already calculated! I have a really weird issue in Final Cut Pro 11. I calculated the magnetic mask and it took some decent time (but reasonable because it's a computational heavy) now when I export the clip (no matter I select same as source or h264 etc. it takes even longer to export than to calculate the magnetic mask in the first place. Is this some kind of bug where the magnetic mask gets recalculated on export again? This is insane the work should be already done. Just to be sure I exported without magnetic mask applied and once with and the time difference on export is like 50-100x longer! how is this possible?
