search history rears it's ugly head again.

I have ios 16.4.1 on iPhone SE 2020. I can see plenty of search history in Safari, but the "Clear" button is greyed out. What's to prevent others from seeing my search history and how to delete it? Why would Apple need to retain my search history?

If your iPhone is managed with Parental Controls or certain Screen Time restrictions, then clearing the Safari history is disabled.
