watch screen unresponsive to touch

Apple Watch SE intermittently unresponsive to touch. Example you unlock and use it, once screen goes off raise wrist, screen illuminates but will not allow any touch to click on screen and open apps. Have tried the 2 button reset, checked software is current, turned of wrist detection. Ideas?
