My icloud notes are organized in folders. Can I move the folders, rather than the individual notes, to my iphone?

Hey there, dculture,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

If you'd like to delete your Notes from iCloud and store them only on your iPhone, we would first recommend that you create a backup of that data. This will prevent any potential data loss during this process. To do that, follow the guidance here: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support

Once your notes are all backed up, complete the following steps:

  1. Open up Settings and scroll down and tap Notes.
  2. Make sure that "On My iPhone" Account is toggled on (green).
  3. Open up the Notes app and tap the arrow in the upper left hand corner until you see "Folders". From there, tap "All iCloud".
  4. Tap the three dots icon in the top right corner of Notes and choose "Select Notes".
  5. Select as many notes as you'd like and then tap "Move" in the lower left hand corner of Notes. Choose a folder inside of the "On My iPhone" account.

That's it! After that, the notes you moved over will be stored on your iPhone instead of iCloud going forward.

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
