Contacts from Gmail account

Hi, may I know if anyone has a solution to sync'ing contacts from Gmail acc to iPhone X?

I managed to create and uploaded a new list of additional 100 new contacts onto Gmail acc. However, they don't appear in my Contact List.

I've tried Settings > Contacts > turned on under Gmail all the apps to be sync'd, Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes.

Any help would be appreciated.
