Can I delete the "Move to iOS" folder after completing transfer?

I transferred my data from a Samsung phone to my new iphone. In the files app, I see a folder labeled "Move to iOS" with a bunch of large files labeled with a 5-digit number and the extention ".x-matroska." They're huge files, ranging from several hundred MB to 1.3 GB. I'm wondering if these can be deleted safely. They're taking up a ton of space on my phone and I think inflating the size of my backups. Do they need to stay?

Are you are sure all your media files have been transferred to Photos App? Which Drive under Files app you see those file. I have a feeling they may be one Drive or Google Drive unde the files app.

What you delete on iCloud Drive in the Files App does not affect the iPhone Photos App. iCloud Drive is an independent drive.

Do not delete anything on iCloud Photos that will delete everything on iPhone too if you have enabled iCloud Photos.

However, Matroska is a project to create a container format that can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture, or subtitle tracks in one file. Matroska Media Container Homepage
