Why are blank emails popping up randomly when I open my mail account on my MacBook Pro

Emails disappear randomly I'm running Apple Mail on Mojave and have noticed that every once in a while an email will show up in the inbox and when I click on it to open it disappears never to be seen again. Any idea what might be causing this? I just had one appear in my inbox and before I could click on it to open, it disappeared. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Apple Mail is generating new blank emails unasked When using Apple Mail on my iMac running OS 13.4.1 (c), suddenly a new blank email will appear, then another. Just before starting this question it generated eight in about five minutes! These blank new emails are odd, they can't be closed in any way other than by quitting Mail, then on restarting Mail they will have disappeared.

Emails disappearing on Mac Mail Hi Could someone please help me - my emails are disappearing from my inbox after a few days and I have no idea why? - I've checked my mail preferences and i have not set them to be deleted (they're not in my trash folder anyway) - they've disappeared altogether - I have set up my email accounts on my iphone as well - and they also disappear A bit of context - I have two email accounts - one personal and one business one - emails from both accounts are disappearing on my home desktop - however they do no disappear on my work mac any help would be really appreciated - thanks!

Troubleshooting Empty Mail Popups:

There are likely drafts that were opened when you last closed the app. So, if there are empty drafts, then trash them.
