my email (aol) was hacked and MANY contacts received an email asking for HELP.
I changed my password to the email. Question is. what could the hacker have access to on my phone, iPad or apple computer?

I think you are correct.. I got tricked into entering my mail password to a question that looked legitimate. They then messed up my account and sent hundreds if not thousands of email to previous email recipients.
email was blocked soon after. all is okay now after an IT guy did his thing $$. I'm not a tecky, born too late.

I don't think your email eas "hacked". Phishers/spammers often spoof email addresses. What specifically makes you think your email was "hacked"?
