Apple Contacts app Mac OS Ventura v13.3.1

What's going on with the Apple Contacts app running Mac OS Ventura v13.3.1 and how buggy and screwy in behaves. Create a new contact card and use the track pad to select a field enter info and and card vanishes. Why?

Contact card disappeared when creating a new contact I have had repeated problems creating new contact cards in the Contacts application. I'm using a new MacOS 13.3 (Ventura) Macbook Pro. I begin creating a new contact card, and after entering information in a few fields the new card suddenly disappears before I finish adding information. Typically I can get through the "first name" and "last name" and maybe start to add a phone number, and then suddenly the card disappears. When using it through my iPhone its not a problem. I did re install software but its the same. I never had this issue previous MacBook. Need help fixing this issue.

Contacts app is buggy I've had this problem for a while, and tried solutions posted as far back as fall 2021, but no fix. When I try to add a new contact, either manually or by clicking on "add to contacts" from another program, contacts lets me type in the name and maybe company, but then "disappears" what I've just typed... UNLESS I can quickly hit "done" and then open the card again and edit it. Sometimes, though, even after hitting "DONE" after typing in the name, the new contact does not show up in my contacts list. This has been happenings since I got a new Macbook, running Monterey. Two questions: 1. How do I fix this? 2. What are alternatives to using Apple's built-in contacts, and can I delete this app if it is not working for me? Thank you! Ramona

Can't Add New Contact Card Currently using Ventura 13.2.1 on MacBook Pro. I haven't been able to directly add a new contact card since Big Sur (?) I expected this glitch would have been solved by now, but apparently not. Any suggestions?

Often times this can be caused by the Contacts Application syncing to a Third Party Source like Google.

At least that is what I see often times on these Forums.

Perhaps of you disconnect from the Internet and try to add the New Information it may work

Of Un-Associate Contacts fro syncing to the Third Party Source and add the new info.

Then try adding the Sync Process afterwards and see of the information sticks.
