Apple TV "Up Next"

How can I stop "Up Next" from changing the app I use to watch a show? For example, If I do not watch a show for over a week, it changes from Paramount Plus to Pluto. I do not even have the Pluto app loaded.

It’s not an undesired show, it is an undesired app. I want to be able to select the show and watch it commercial free and not on Pluto. I realize I can go to the P+ app, but that defeats the purpose of Up Next.

Oh, okay, in that case. Purchases can be shared across devices. To troubleshoot open the App Store in Settings on another device, preferably an iPhone, then turn off App Downloads and Automatic Downloads. Then try the Apple TV.

When at the "all apps" screen, click on the TV app. Then find the undesired watched show and hoover over it do not click on it. There is an option to remove from "Up Next". Hope this helps!
