Hello is it possible to change my Apple e mail adress

I guess it also depends upon what you mean by, "my Apple email address". If you mean the one you set up in iCloud, you cannot change the primary IS but you can use an alias. Add and manage email aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support

When I try this, which seems pretty straightforward, I just get a message: Continue on one of your devices

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, go to Settings > Apple‑ID. On Mac, go to System Preferences or System Preferences > Apple‑ID.

Nothing happens if I go where indicated on another unit, and pressing OK just takes me back where I can enter My new Apple-ID
