Documents & Sync eating up all my Mobile Data

Hello, Im new to iPhone from Android, there is something called Document and Sync eating up all my data, it took 1,7GB and there is no option to switch it off. The phone is new so i really don't understand what it is syncing of that much capacity. Im on iOS 16.4.1 (a)

There are some posts here that say i should Navigate to Settings > Cellular and i can turn it off there, well that option is not available (Not sure if i'm too angry to see straight or its a region thing) but i need help. Never experienced this on my iPad and MBP 13".

Can i switch to WiFi only? Where can i do that? Can i turn it off completely?

1) Navigate to Settings > 'Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases' > iCloud

2) Turn off iCloud Drive

Hello unaswi267,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We’d like to do our best to help you out and isolate this issue. This syncing documents might be linked to your iCloud Drive. This feature does transfer documents and data using Wi-Fi or your cellular data. To disable cellular for iCloud Drive, follow the steps below:

1.) Navigate to Settings > Cellular.

2.) Scroll down and turn off iCloud Drive.

After you’ve turned this off, you might want to continue to monitor your cellular usage and see that sorted it out.

We hope this helps you out. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take it easy.
