Subscription to plant parent app

I clicked on the Plant Parent pop up advert when playing a game and it comes with a 7 day free trial to be cancelled 24 hours before the trial ends do I have to subscribe and pay the fee and then cancel, if so how easy is it to get my money refunded, or if I just delete the app from my iPad will I still be charged. I haven’t used it . Any ideas will be much appreciated.
