My Replies not included in thread

This is also happening to me but only started recently and only on my MacBook, not on my iPhone. Within a thread, I can't see my most recent reply and have to go into sent mail to find it. I did not change any of my settings, but I have gone in to check my settings, and I do have Threading checked. It's defeating the purpose of having email threads if I can't see all the emails in the thread. I have had instances where I think I haven't replied when I have.

We'd like to help by first learning more about what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

1. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
2. Since you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.4.1(a). You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
3. If you have another email account set up in Mail besides Gmail, do those message threads also have the same issue?
