Hello folks. I was also having trouble with inputting a new face. I cruised around the web to find a technique to solve the problem. I just cleaned the camera lense and was able to successfully get a new Face ID.
Perhaps the true depth camera didn’t calibrate properly, in which case, faceID can’t recognize the features of your face. Try restarting.
