iPhone SE (3rd generation, 2022) becomes unresponsive after software update

Hi,

My iPhone SE (2022, 3rd gen) was getting suddenly completely unresponsive for long periods (5-10 hours) in Mar 2023. Went to the Apple approved repair store...the hardware was fine. The engineers suggested possibility of software update causing problem. So they reset my phone and told me not to reload the backup from cloud.

Again happened yesterday for ~20 hours..the phone started on its own after overnight charging. Had updated the latest software update. My old workhorse (iPhone X) has never had such an issue for the last 5 years...

So, wanted to know from you all:

  1. Have you ever had such a problem with any of the other iPhone models?
  2. Is it due to the Apple processor?
  3. What are your suggestions to get over this problem? Do i dump this model?

Thanks,

iPhone SE, iOS 16

Boot Loop Senerios:

Yes. It may be stuck in a boot loop for other reasons which as when you install something (i.e. an app) or download something (i.e. a iTunes movie), and it got stalled while in the process.

I am certain you did not go to the Apple Authorised Service Provider.

You're Stuck in a Boot Loop:

This typically occurs when updating, and it got frozen while in the process.  So, use MY User Tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip
