How do I move ALL my Shutterfly photos to apple iCloud photos?

Download them from Shuutefly to your Mac. Add them to the Photos app, and sync that with iCloud Photos.

So I tried it and it works. But the photo goes to the year it was taken not as new? Also is there a way to move an album to iCloud Photos to my albums not the year they were taken?
