MyQ Bridge keeps dropping from HomeKit
I have 2 Chamberlain garage door openers. I have had them successfully connected to HomeKit using the MyQ Bridge for years. However, in the last few weeks, the 2 garage door openers keep dropping from HomeKit. The MyQ Bridge remains connected to wifi. I can still use the MyQ app to control the doors. The problem is that the connection to HomeKit drops so I can't control them with the Home app or Siri.
Unplugging and plugging the MyQ Bridge back in solves the problem... for a little while. But a few hours later, it will fall off of HomeKit again.
I have all of my hardware, operating systems and apps fully up to date. I've rebooted all hardware and have factory-reset the MyQ Bridge & garage door openers (multiple times). My hubs are made up of HomePod Minis. Everything else in HomeKit works perfectly - it's just the MyQ Bridge that keeps falling off of HomeKit. The results are the same in the Home app on my Mac, iPhone and iPad.
I have been on the phone with Chamberlain support for hours trying to resolve this. Of course, they ultimately point the finger of blame at Apple. And to be fair, they are probably right. The garage doors and MyQ Bridge never disconnect from wifi and I can always control them with the MyQ app. It's just the HomeKit connection to the MyQ Bridge that drops... so that does seem like an Apple issue since everything else continues to work.
