Delete Recent Message suggestions
How do I delete the annoyingly long list of recent recipient suggestions when I start to type a new message to a contact on iPhone Messages?

While not all suggestions can be removed, you can modify Siri Suggestions to clear some. The steps on how to do that can be found at Siri Suggestions on iPhone - Apple Support.
Siri Suggestions are on by default for your apps. You can turn them off or change the settings at any time.
1. Go to Settings> Siri & Search, scroll down, then select an app.
2. Turn settings on or off.
