Stocks application jumps forward unexpectedly

I have been having an issue with the Stocks application where it will jump forward by several items as I scroll through the list. This has been going on for at least a year. Today I noticed that while I was on a flight and scrolling through the list there was no jumping. I suspect that the jump is related to some data updates during scrolling. This happens on all devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac Pro).
