Why is my battery icon yellow when it shows 100%? iPhone 14 Pro Max. In the middle of the night the phone was charging and shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. I followed the restart directions and after 3 attempts it turned back on and now my battery icon is yellow at 100%.

Once the battery charges over 80%, it's supposed to turn off.
But, if you turn Low Battery Mode back on when the phone is already at 100%, it will stay yellow until you plug the phone in again.
It appears as if "Low Power Mode" is enabled: Use Low Power Mode to save battery life on your iPhone or iPad.

It's not supposed to remain on as indicated by Johnathan Burger, and stated in the Support Article.

What's your battery health at?
Maximum capacity is 97%
And confirmed on my iPad, also at 100%.
