finder shows red exclamation mark behind every item and folder Hi, my finder is showing a red dot with a white exclamation mark behind every single item and folder since I updated to Ventura. I can still access everything and open all the files, but that icon won't go away. I don't have any Norton or McAfee Software, so that is not the problem. I only have Surfshark VPN, but haven't seen any issues reported with that. How can I find out where the exclamation mark is coming from? I doesn't tell me anything in the info and I can't seem to find out which program is even sending it. Please help, this is driving me crazy!

Red exclamation mark Hi All, I am facing a issue , where all my folders and files are now marked with red exclamation mark to them. However i am able to open them and access files too. But how to get rid of these marks. these are the changes i made before facing this issue. ( i was trying to clean my ram ) i installed CleanMyMacX from app store , it asked to get access for folders and files, i gave it , but later uninstalled the app. Ran command sudo purge in terminal ( for clearing ram ) i installed the lastest update - Monterey 12.5.1

Download the Application Etrecheck from the Developer. This is a Diagnostic Tool that makes no changes to the computer. It creates a detailed report of both the Hardware and Software used on the computer. The application is free but also has a paid version that has added features.

problem solved. real culprit is pcloud..
