Just wanna say that the "fix" is editing the image and adding a white or black bar the size of the menu bar on top.
Boring old menu bar is 10 bucks :/

Not exactly sure what you're trying to achieve there, but you can return to the more traditional menu bar simply by using the reduce transparency option in SystemSettings -> Accessibility -> Display
