I need to remove the number from the top right corner of my iPhone

What number? The only number on the top right of my iPhone is the battery percentage inside the battery icon. Is that what you mean? If so, go to Settings>Battery>Battery Percentage and turn it off.

If you mean something else, please explain. A screenshot would be very helpful.
