Apple TV app becomes increasingly bogged down in content making it a frustrating user experience

The design of the Apple TV app needs a complete re-think. Apple seems determined to irritate users to the point of making the app a frustrating experience.

I do not want to see sports content and should at least have the option to mute it.

I have no interest in paying to subsidize your sports coverage and should not be bombarded with this content, especially as a paying AppleTV+ subscriber.

Get rid of the ridiculous over-sized videos at the top of the page or at very least minimize them. Further, I should have the option to not have videos autoplay or better yet restrict to only a still image.
