RAW photos become blurry/corrupt after edit
I have to bring this issue back up, as it has not been solved (here Photos blurred when viewed in Photos but … - Apple Community and here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254317059). I can add some more observations with my 85k pictures in a 1.6 TB library on 2019 iMac, Ventura 13.3.1
I am shooting RAW+JPEG on a Sony alpha 7C. Edits on the JPEG work fine. Only after I make RAW the original and edit, the blurry pictures appear in the viewer.
The blurry edited RAWs cannot be exported to a shared album.
The pictures can be exported on my iPad to a shared album, but the edits will not have synced.
This will clear itself up after about 2 days, when all the edits are present, synced to the iPad, the pictures are clear and can be exported to shared albums.
This occured while the photo library was on the internal drive and persists after the library was exported, synced, repaired on an external Thunderbolt APFS SSD.
This is a ****** work flow and must be fixed.
