Apple Watch ultra overheat on scuba

I used my Apple Watch ultra for the first time on Scuba on a 35ft dive, in conjunction with the oceanic dive app. 5 minutes into the dive, the watch screen went black and when I pressed the buttons it showed me thermometer, which I assume means overheating. 5 minutes after that the watch turned off and I couldn’t get it to turn back on again, even after trying to charge it.

This just happened to me after a swim. Figured it would resolve itself. Left it on my wrist figured it would dry and start working.

quite the opposite woke me up from deep sleep with my wrist in pain could barely touch the watch it was so hot. Could have started a fire I. Bed of the battery blew

its now in the sink hope to contain a fire if the battery blows. Back to bed to deal with it in the morning
