Hi there Re_migio,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

This could be the explanation: "The availability of translations and the number of languages that can be translated may vary by country or region."

See here: Translate a webpage in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

That should help explain.

Take care.

Hey Re_migio,

Thanks for the update. This sounds like it may be an opportunity to provide some feedback. After attempting to add Italian as a language in Language & Region settings, we noticed that macOS does indicate that while some applications and webpages do support this language it’s not fully supported by macOS and might explain what you’re seeing. We’d suggest providing feedback on this using this link: Product Feedback - Apple

We hope this helps out and thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care!
