SharePlay keeps prompting me even though it is turned off on all devices

I share the same opinion as this is also happening to me!

At this time, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/​email/​callback).

It could be that others are trying to invite you (or someone in your household) for SharePlay. You can change a setting to ignore such requests: Apple TV: Settings﹥Users and Accounts﹥[username]﹥Shared with You﹥Off.

Totally sucks. Same thing happens to me. Two things have worked to get it back to normal:

1. reset phone and Apple TV SharePlay settings - meaning turn them on since they’re probably already off, then back to off - after that restart both phone and appletv
2. reset appleTV which isn’t too bad getting everything logged back in if you use your phone remote since there is password autofill

This issue has been going on for over a year now. Obviously Apple is no help in trying to resolve this. I’m the only one that lives in my house, I have turned off SharePlay and the “Shared with you” function but yet I still get promoted to SharePlay while I’m on FaceTime. This is very annoying and irritating now. I got rid of my fire stick for this AppleTV but now I'm starting to regret it. I can’t do nothing smoothly if I’m on FaceTime. Sucks.

Obviously Apple is no help in trying to resolve this.

Why do you say that? I have found them quite knowledgeable and helpful.

Be open to the idea of user error though, as most users do not share your experience.

I literally just explained my point of view and you going to still ask me why I said that??? I have seen complaints about this same issue for over a year and Apple hasn’t done anything to solve this issue. ITS NOT USER ERROR IF IM NOT THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THIS ANNOYING ISSUE!!!

To turn it off go to settings. Type in the search bar “FaceTime” and press it and press the thing that says FaceTime and scroll a little and press the thing that says SharePlay. And under where it says SharePlay automatically cancel them.
