Why am I receiving emails from iCloud to upgrade my payment method?

There is always the possibility the communication was delayed between the payment system and PayPal. However, as none of us here can view billing, you'll do best to contact Apple Support so that they can look into this with you.

I am receiving emails from iCloud to upgrade my payment method, that payment for April 23 was due, but PayPal sent me my receipt of payment. According to the system the subscription will be done automatically unless I unsubscribe.
