Netflix not working on updated Mac
I just updated my Mac (currently Ventura 13.3.1) and when I try to play something on Netflix it says:
"Netflix says to install the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in
It's because your current browser version is out of date and uses the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in to play Netflix. Microsoft no longer supports this plug-in.
To keep watching Netflix, you'll need to update your browser to a version that supports HTML5"
- I have never installed Microsoft Silverlight plug-in
- I was literally watching Netflix last night on this very computer before I updated it this morning
I am on the phone with Netflix customer service now and the women I am speaking with is telling me the best solution is to download a different browser. I will not accept that answer because I do not want to download another browser just to watch Netflix, there is no reason it should not be working this is ridiculous.
Someone please help me.
