Safari battery drain Ventura 13.3.1

I've been noticing my battery drains significantly more when I open up my MacBook M1 Pro from sleep, ever since the new MacOS update. Is there any way to fix this without downgrading my version?

It's been just 12 days since I bought it. I thought the stock Mac OS update wasn't optimized or something and did the update to 14.4 as well. And not much improvement. The overall battery backup is about 6 to 8 hours max, with only Google Chrome usage, maybe with 15 tabs open. I was expecting around 12 to 16 hours. Totally disappointed, not sure what is the issue. Looking forward to a solution here.

Safari draining too much battery life I am having a terrible problem with Safari eating up my battery power. Can anyone offer any tips to reduce this? Thanks in advance!

I have the exact same issue. Ventura 13.3.1 (a). Safari drains battery really quick! Just in 3-4 hours my M1 Pro 14" went from 100% battery to 77% while sleeping...
