I have backed my phone up to my computer then deleted info then tried to back it back up on the same phone but now saying not enough storage on phone?? It’s the same phone the back up is off?

Probably you wanted to say; After taking a backup of your iPhone on your computer using iTunes you tried to restore your device with the backup you had just taken.
If that is so then either you have chosen the wrong backup or the wrong device. Please check again. Watch the GIF below though made on a Mac but is true for PCs too.
