The easiest way, is to open your Apple Card click add bank account and add your apple savings account number and routing. That’s it. Then when paying down your balance select your apple savings as the source of payment. Just remember that unlike checking accounts, savings accounts have a limit on withdrawals and paying down your balance counts as a withdrawal.

I just tried to do this myself and was a little surprised to not see my Apple Savings account as a payment option for paying my Apple Card.
I was able to add my Apple Savings account to that list though.
First, go into your Apple Savings account and tap the three dots in the upper right corner.
Go into Account Details
Tap on Routing and Account Numbers
Note the two numbers listed there.
Then tap the back arrows (upper left) to get back to your Apple Card.
Go to your Home screen and open Settings.
Go to Wallet & Apple Pay
Tap on your Apple Card
Scroll down to Bank Accounts
Tap Add Another Bank Account
You will be asked for those two numbers you noted before.
Enter them and then enter them again to verify.
Boom. Your Goldman Sachs Bank USA account is now available as an Apple Card payment account.
Wouldn't it be faster to just transfer from Apple Savings to Apple Cash which is instantaneous and then pay Apple Card with Apple Cash which is also instantaneous.
Funds from Apple Savings can be transferred to another account your have, such as a checking account and that account may be used to pay bills, including a card balance.
I takes a couple minutes to get it set up but once you do, its faster to make payments. It saves the step of moving money to another account.
OK, so if I understand this correctly, then you must move your funds out of the Apple Savings Account into another account outside of Apple altogether in order to then pay down your Apple Credit Card. Seems odd, but did I get that right?
There are multiple ways to pay an Apple Card statement with funds originating in Apple Savings,
Best Way (in my opinion). Open Apple Cash > Tap More button > tap Add Money > type Dollar figure > tap Add in upper right corner > You see one option to to use, to select alternate option click ( > ) arrow at far right.
So, use source selected or click >. If you tap > then you’ll see this screen.
Tap the account you want, and you’re all set.
Next best way is to in my case go to 5/3 Bank with draw funds from Apple Savings. Then in Apple Card choose to pay your statement and fund the payment from 5/3.
Currently, Apple Savings account does not have a withdrawal limit in regard to number per month. There are dollar limits permitted on a daily and weekly (7 day) period. Otherwise the only limit is time and amount available to transfer.
If you want to learn more on the topic, search Federal Reserve Regulation D. Lots public on it and Fed suspended it due to COVID. The suspension doesn’t really exist, but some banks still follow it. Fed has no comment, but it’s doubtful they’ll reimpose the regulation. Some banks enforce it, probably to reduce costs. I doubt GS will do it in short term or longer.
Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Thanks for the info, I only pay it down twice a month but it’s good to know.
The answer I was looking / hoping for. Thank you!
