Apple Watch Series 5 no longer has Microsoft Teams as an available app

I have a Series 5 watch. Last year I had a Microsoft Teams app on my watch where I could read messages, respond with voice to text and even make and take calls. The app was deleted off my watch by accident (life with toddlers!). I still get notifications but I can't do anything further to view, respond or call.

I have tried to reinstall it but it looks to no longer be available. After a quick google it's suggested that it works in the Series 6 watch. What I don't understand is if it was previously working on the Series 5 watch, why has it now been removed as a compatible app??

To my knowledge, there is no Teams app for Apple Watch and I have Teams on my iPhone and regularly use it. I own Apple Watch Ultra, Apple's newest Apple Watch and I just checked the App Store and there is no Microsoft Teams App available for Apple Watch, even on the newest Apple Watch.

That is not Apple's fault. It's up to Microsoft to build a watch compatible App, which they evidently have not done. I do get Notifications on my watch for Teams as that is normal if you mirror notifications from your iPhone to your Watch.

You need to contact Microsoft and tell them you want a Teams app for Apple Watch. It is totally up to them, not Apple to make one.
