Problems with Apple mail on MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261)

I am using Apple's mail service, Mail Client 16.0 (3731.500.231) on a MacBook Pro: Apple M1 Max, RAM: 64 GB, OS Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261). Software is fully up to date. I have almost daily issues where I start looking at mail, everything is O.K., but then I open a message and the content is blank. When this starts, it happens with every message after that. Leaving the message open to see if it populates later rarely helps, even when open for hours. Internet is AT&T and is blazing fast - the constantly overdeliver from the bandwidth I've subscribe to.

The only solution is to reboot the computer which fixes the issue for hours or the rest of the day. Some days I need to reboot more than once. This happened with the last OS I was on as well, which was Monterrey, where I also had this issue. I waited 3 months to upgrade to Ventura, I usually wait 6 months from release for an OS upgrade to wait for a couple of 'updates' to fix issues.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.3

Does the same issue Occur when you log into the Web Portals of your e-mail account with the Browser of Choice ?

Apple Mail >> Seeing >> Privacy Tab and uncheck any or All from Image below

Any Third Party Security Software installed and used on this computer ?

Any VPN connection involved to connect to the Internet ?

I've not tried access outside of the mail client. The only way to access Apple Mail that I know of by web is iCloud.

I can try that.

No Mail plugins.

Third party security is Malware Bytes which is up to date on revs.

There're no issues with Mail on my iPhone.

I'm now seeing others have the same issues, even after trying the suggested solutions. Sounds like an OS bug to me.

No VPN use.

Per your privacy suggestion, I checked, the Protect Mail Activity box is not checked but the Hide IP address box is checked. I'll try unchecking, but after using that for a time will check the Protect Mail Activity and hide IP address box to see if that works.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I've tried the 'privacy uncheck' and will see what that does. I also use Hide my email with one alias email address. I can delete that to see if that works. Regarding wiping the drive and reinstalling the software, I think I'll wait to schedule along with my next colonoscopy in a few months so it's just a 'one bad day'. I have TM going, but still.....

Who knows, Apple may find a cure.....

Depending on the results of Toggling Off the Privacy Setting and Before doing the Wipe and Re-Installation

Log into www.icloud.com >> Mail and Test.

If all is normal re-images loading then, at not $$ cost to user as experiment

Try the Thunderbird Application https://www.thunderbird.net/en-CA/ and Test there

Apple Mail is good as a basic e-mail client but . . . some Others maybe a little better for your needs.

This may seem related to Mail Application.

But since Safari can not open any Web Site , this is more an Internet Connection issue

Would suggest opening a New Question of your own.

Supply some reliable , accurate, details / context will really help to pinpoint a possible solution.

After all, we do not what to offer that which has already been attempted by the User
