UK number disappeared from iMessage

I’m on a prepaid SIM card while travelling around Australia. Does anyone know how I reactivate my UK telephone number when I get back home? I assumed I could just reinsert my old SIM, but my previous number has disappeared from iMessage. Help appreciated!

As 30 days was up I had to reinstall my Aus sim to be able to keep using the number for iMessage, however since I have done this I can no longer use the Aus number for iMessage when my UK sim is installed. How to remove phone number from iMessage without the sim How do I remove a phone number from iMessage if I no longer have the sim or access to the number? I recently changed sim provider and in the 2 days before my phone number changed back to my original one I was using 2 phones at once. Now the number has transferred over and I didn’t realise the temporary number was being used for iMessage. The only option I can find to remove it is to have the sim with that number which I don’t have anymore. Is there another way to get rid of it as I come up as an unknown number when calling and texting people?

Travelling with a SIM card Upon the start of a vacation I picked up a local in-country SIM card. I continue to receive a message through my settings that my Canadian phone number, which I am not using with the new SIM chip while travelling, the message is: this number is registered to your AppleID, but is not associated with this phone. It also says that iMessage and FaceTime will expire in 4 days. I am still travelling and don’t get back to Canada for 3 weeks. Is there anything that I need to do to ensure that my iMessage and FaceTime accounts don’t get screwed up? Thanks

Dosn't matter. Simply insert the SIM on your device when you are back.

If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One SMS*** Only)
