Safari on iPhone only saving one week of history

When trying to track down a link I need, I discovered that Safari is only saving one week of browsing history on my iPhone instead of one month like it’s supposed to.

Can anyone help me figure out why this might be and how I can change it?

Is there any way to recover the rest of my browsing history for the last month? It’s really important that I track down this link.

One way to do that is to restore that iPhone from a backup created within a week after loading that web page. To do that please read Restore all content to iPhone from a backup - Apple Support. Refer to "Restore iPhone from a computer backup."

Private Browsing for example will not create a History entry. Other than that I have no explanation, but neither can I find any Apple documentation that describes how long iOS stores Safari browsing history. It has been my experience that it goes back a month as you describe, but that length of time may be curtailed under certain conditions.
