List all favorite artists in apple music

What I've noticed myself is that after migrating to Apple Music and favoriting all of the artists I am interested in, is that the application is explicitly limiting the favorite artists section to 100. You can see this in the amp-api request query string parameters as well. This is a bit of a bummer for a passionate fan of a wide range of artists such as myself. From the looks of things this is likely a limitation to comply with the REST api design alongside keeping the client requests slim and minimal. In any event they should be able to accommodate a change for this with some client side work at minimum.

So, are you trying transfer these to another Apple Account?

Apple Accounts Cannot be Merged:

If you are trying to transfer items to another Apple Account, note that that is not an option, as off this reply. That all has to do with licensing between Apple and Studios. Use Family Sharing as a workaround.

Location & Item Restrictions:

As for using it, you are permitted a certain amount of devices, and purchases are only allowed to be used in the country/region in which they were purchased. When Items are removed form the iTunes Store, they never become accessible again. That's just the way it is :( It all has to do with licensing between Apple and the Music Studio. To use the account in another country, you'd have to contact Apple Support, and have the Apple Rep zero out your balance.

Hello, I have the same problem, and in fact, I realized that the "Favorite artists" section is visually limited and display only 100 artists (the last 100 artists you added). So when you reach this limit, if you add a new artist, it will replace the first of the last 100 artists visible in this section.

Please Apple, remove this limitation, because I want to be able to see all of my favorites artists 🙂

And it would be great also to be able to sort the list (recent / alphabetical..), and to change the layout.

I’m not Apple. Just an everyday Apple user like yourself. So, what’s your “problem”? Is it the same as the OP?

Yes, the same. I spend hours “favoriting” artists and a few days later some are gone. I’ve consolidated several artists into playlists because one user said if you have over 100 favorites it will knock off some. I am under 100 now, we’ll see if that works, but it shouldn’t be that way. I had hundreds of artists when I was using MP3s but Apple Music kept screwing that up too, random songs wouldn’t play and be skipped over, even though they played the time before.

As usual a worthless reply from Apple that doesn’t address our problem
