Apple Music pushing me to sign up...

Are you using the iTunes Store in Apple Music? Go to Music > Settings > General > Show: iTunes Store, and make sure it is checked. When viewing songs, make sure you are using the iTunes Store in the Music sidebar.

Right! I’m so sick of these BS invitations to join Apple Music that I won’t sign up now if they offer me 12 months free. It is the worst kind on spam - the kind you can’t block!

For over 20 years we were able to play a preview of a song, click "buy now" for $1.99, $0.99, $2.99 or the entire album for whatever price but now they force you into the $10.99/month and YOU MUST PUT ALL YOUR purchased music in the "Cloud."

Why? Why the change?

And this is an Apple discussions board, try not be too much of a fan boy/girl. Apple just isn't what it used to be.

Cook slowly running it into the ground.

But didja get your new iPhone 15 for $2,500 dollars?!!!! Just have to renew every year at just $199.99/month!!! Come on! Support the Apple gravy train! Live in poverty eating potatoes but at least you got your iPhone!

No problem. In an attempt to make things easier, they combined the iTunes functionality with the streaming of Apple Music into the same Music app, but you still have the option to use either platform depending on whether you prefer to purchase music or stream music.
