when I do a search on safari say for eggs then press the image tab, the whole page of images is pulsating. I have done a reset, cleared history and cookies, turned off auto brightness and turned on reduce motion but it is still doing the same thing. iPad is 16.4.1

Go to settings and then select safari in settings. if you scroll down , you will notice “Request desktop website”. In it you have to switch to off “all websites”. This worked for me. Images don’t shake anymore.
Ah yes, that did help.
I think you rapped “Images” as shown here and when you did, the images are flickering. If so, sorry, I could not reproduce the issue.
But instead if you mean there is wiggling on your Home Screen:

Perhaps “search on Safari” means this.
But even a Google search reveals no “image tab”.
I switched off the Request Desktop Site in Safari settings. So far so good.
When I search the subject eggs or something else on safari search engine then tap the image tab all the images of eggs ( Or whatever other subject I have searched and then taped the image tab) on the image page are flickering.

Yes that’s right when I tap the images tab you have circled in red.
I just reported this to Apple, ‘apparently’ they were unaware of this bug and will escalate it internally, I backed up, deleted and restored the iPad and it didn’t resolve the issue.
Rotate iPad and rotate back. Solves till next search.
How did you resolve this issue. I have just purchased my iPad and I have the same problem. Google chrome works perfect thou
