why on iphone in settings my name is grayed out

Hi it’s asking me for a pass code four digits. I tried what I usually use and that didn’t work :(

To fix this issue, please go to: Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > (Scroll all the way down) > Account Changes. Now, select “Allow” and close Settings.

Now, when you re-enter Settings, your name will be black, and you will be able to click your name.

In your month old thread here, you stated everything’s enabled except account changes and something else. Make sure account changes are enabled in screen time, as per my instructions below.

If they are enabled, include that info in your new thread.

Greyed Out Items:

A. Where are you seeing this? Is it your Apple ID (the top item in Settings)?

B. Restart your iPhone Manually:

1. Go To: Settings
2. Select: General
3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
4. Select: Shut Down
5. Slide Finger: to the Right
6. Wait: 30 Seconds
7. Power One: the iPhone
8. Try this Once More

My name is greyed out on my iPhone 11 why. I cannot turn on imesssge because it is greyed out. I own my phone so it should not be greyed out. I am with Rogers mobile and they said the issue isn’t with them but with Apple. How do I fix this?

Have you simply tried logging out of your Apple ID on this phone, and then, logging back in? If that doesn't work, I suggest you start a new post. State the issue you are having, and what you have tried yourself to try to resolve this issue.
