ios 15 kills background apps

Since ios 13 and until 15, ios kills background app.

e.g I try to update apps, and then use whatsapp. Then check App Store (Updates), and ios 15 has killed off Updates.

This means the apps do not het updated. Unless I sit in front of the App Store keeping the programme in the foreground.

Seriously. Other than automatically getting ios to update apps:

How can I leave App Store updating the apps I want without ios killing App Store?
