Can international students in the US open an Apple Savings account?

hi, were you able to open a savings account being a non resident alien, I'm in a similar situation , have SSN and valid physical address but not sure if we can open savings account or not?

Do you have an Apple Card MasterCard account? If not, you can’t request to open an Apple Savings account. Here is the full list of requirements to open an account.

• Be at least 18 years or older.
• Have a social security number or individual taxpayer identification number.

iPhone must be updated or you can’t apply. Your Apple Cash account must be verified to transfer funds from Apple Cash account.

what does US resident mean , do I have to be a resident alien? as I'm on OPT, I'm non resident alien but have valid US physical address

My understanding, is you’re eligible to apply for Apple Savings Account. My personal opinion is you should apply and see what happens. If the application doesn’t permit you to apply for the account, please reach out to Goldman Sachs support team.

Is the U.S. resident means U.S. resident for tax purposes? Can I apply for the saving account if I'm a non-resident alien for tax purposes but have SSN and valid physical US address?

You currently reside (are physically in the US) in the US and have a physical address (no PO Box, forwarding services etc.).
